Krasne-Ternopil-Pidvolochisk area
By the purpose of electrification of a area ,
which was begun in 1995 year was a creation transeurope corridor № 3 -
Krasne-Ternopil-Pidvolochisk-Khmelnitskiy-Gmerinka.
The
electrification of an area went in some stages. And the work went as on the part of a
L'viv railroad (from Krasne) , and Southwest railroad (Khmelnitskiy). To 1995 year
the first Krasne-Zolochiv area (26 kms) was handed over , in 1997 year December 25 the
Zolochiv-Ternopil area (64 kms) is handed over. The Ternopil distance of electrosupply
directly supervised and took part in works connected with electrification (breakdown of a
way under support of a contact network, installation of
support and bases, installation and adjustment of a contact network, traction substation construction and many more. Especially it
would be necessary to note hard labour of the people, which in any weather worked above
the put task. To the aid of a L'viv railroad have arrived electricians from all
railroads of Ukrzaliznicya. Was activated set of engineering and equipment.
But on Krasne-Ternopil area electrification works
have not stopped - it was necessary to connect by a contact network a area
Ternopil-Khmelnitskiy. For it the works on installation and adjustment were continued till
August 1998 year , where per day of Independence of Ukraine in Pidvolochisk the solemn
start-up of a area was carried out. Distinctive feature of the given electrification was
the following - for the first time distance between adjacent substations has reached about
90 kms., the works were executed in the extremely compressed terms (about 3 months up to
Ternopil) , for the first time on a L'viv railroad the power supply system of a
contact network with a shielding and strengthening wire (ЭУП) was used.
